About the Blog

This entire blog is an ongoing experiment with AI tools. The site itself, as well as the content, is heavily created, modified, augmented, or possibly ruined by the use of LLM tools; accordingly, this section of the site serves as my Terms of Centaur Service. My goal here is to explore these things as far as they can go. I am very inspired by Venkatesh Rao's sloptraptions as well as Dan Miessler's vision of the Personal AI Infrastructure (PAI)

The ultimate point remains about sharing ideas, experiences and experiments. It makes me feel good to express these things, and publishing them makes it so that they might be useful to others too. So even though this whole blog seems to be AI-focused, the AI is still the means to the end of getting the ideas out. Simply put, I don't think I would be doing this without the massive time savings that LLMs provide. Here I'm channeling the spirit of Virtue Degeneracy as hard as I can: I've wanted to make a blog for a long time but I got stuck on the idea of making it flawless. Now the flaws are the whole point.

The conditions of success here are as follows: one, I'm creating blog posts, projects, websites, and other things that, without LLMs, I felt that I didn't have the time or energy for. Two, I'm able to do this while maintaining high quality, i.e. not just putting more low-effort slop out there. (The ideas have to be good.) Three, I am constantly refining, experimenting, and playing with LLMs and the various interfaces surrounding them. The ultimate measure of success would be that all of this hedging and disclaiming could be archived, to be replaced with a giant flashing modal that says "I DID IT!"

Stay tuned.
